Instructions:
Nitroxynil injection is used in the treatment of fascioliasis in vet cattle and sheep. Besides, it is effective against various species of hookworms in cattle and sheep.
Dimensions and application rules
Cows, buffaloes, goats, and sheep: 10 mg per kg body weight i.e. 1 ml per 25 kg body weight should be injected subcutaneously. In case of acute infection, the dose can be increased to 1.3 ml for 25 kg body weight. In case of severe infection, re-injection should be given after 3 weeks.
Warning
In the case of cows, it should be used during the dry season (at least 15 days before calving). Because nitroxenil is excreted in milk, this drug should not be used in lactating cows. The drug should be used with extreme caution in late pregnancy in pregnant ewes.
Can only be used as prescribed by a registered veterinarian and should not be used in excess as prescribed.
Side effects of Nitroxynil Vet Injection
No systemic abnormalities are observed when the medicine is used in prescribed doses. It is safe up to four times the prescribed dose. In case of side effects or accidental overdose, intravenous dextrose saline should be administered. After treatment, the animal should be kept in a cool place.

Supply: Supplied in 10 ml and 25 ml glass vials.
