Soybean seeds are called soybean grains or full-fat soybean. These grains are also part of the diet of farm animals. These dried seeds contain 40% protein and 20% oil or fat and others feed nutrition.

It is commonly used in feed mills. If you use full-fat soybean in your animal’s diet, you do not need to use oil or fat supplements separately in feed. Using it can reduce the cost of feed production.

Why price effective

Soybean meal or full-fat Soybean prices are very low in terms of protein and fat. Animal/Fish protein where 60% protein but the cost is the product 100-150 taka in Bangladesh, 40% protein and 2% fat is available at 45-50 taka. In Bangladesh, soybean meal and full-fat soybean are imported from various countries including America, China, Malaysia, and other available countries. Since it depends on imports, prices go up and down.

Now the question is where is the soybean feed is found? At present soybean, cultivation has also started in Bangladesh. In Laxmipur and Comilla districts, however, to a very small extent. In Bangladesh, mainly soybean meals are available from Tir, Fresh, and Muskan. And large quantities are imported from abroad. You can also get it by contacting a well-known cattle seller.

The price of soybean meal

At the time I am writing this article, the price of soybean mill is 39-40 rupees per kg. This is the highest price, moreover, its regular price is between 32-35 rupees. These are the words of the native arrow or fresh company. However, the price of imported soybean mill is 2-3 rupees less per kg. The quality of imported soybeans is not very good.

Precautions

Dairy cattle can be fed soybean meal up to a maximum of 40% of daily granular feed and bulls up to a maximum of 50%. However, normally 30% of daily soybean meal consumption is considered to be a balanced amount.

20-30% can be used in layer chicken feed and 25-40% in broiler chicken feed. The amount of soybean meal used depends on other ingredients and protein supplements.
